General Principles

Custom‑made items (drapes, Roman shades, blinds) are produced to your specifications and usually cannot be returned.

Sample booklets / fabric swatches are final sale.

For all other items, please confirm eligibility in the tables below before requesting a return.
Returnable:
In these special circumstances, we accept return. If you believe there is something wrong with your product, contact us straightaway with full details of the problem - feel free to send a photo to illustrate the problem by email, quoting your order number. We will of course repair or remake the product to match the original order as quickly as possible, so you will be inconvenienced as little as possible. We will request that the original drapes and shade are returned to us.

● Not as described.
Hardwares and Ready-Made that can be returned or refunded within 30 days of receiving must meet both of the following conditions:
● Faulty items damaged/broken or in the incorrect size/color upon arrival.
● Items are unused, drapery with tags and unaltered.

Return Time Limit
Generally, we only accept refund requests within 30 days of your receipt and signature. After this period, refunds will no longer be processed.
Return shipping fees?
If you request a return, you are responsible for the shipping costs.
Refunds = Order amount - (Handling + Packing + Shipping Fee), that account for 20% of order amount. Finally, you get the refund amount, 80% of order amount.
Exchange
For damaged or broken items, we accept exchange only.
*Exchanges can only be made with the same details as the original order (including size, header style, color, liner, etc.)
Please contact us via email: info@curtainu.com at once within 3 days of receipt, and keep all the packaging (outer and inner packaging) and provide us with the photos of the packaging and products to apply for an exchange. We will arrange an exchange for you after confirmation.
Alterations
Normally, we don't accept alterations after you receive the orders, so please pay additional attention to your measurement and size decision-making.
Shading Rate
We provide various fabric materials as liner types to achieve different shading rate effects, including Privacy, Room Darkening, Blackout, and Thermal. Shading level is subjectively judged by people, we remind you to order Lining Books to ensure liner shading works for you. Meanwhile, we suggest purchasing fabric booklets to ensure shading is expected. Note that "liner shading rate" does not fall into the category of misdescription since this may vary in different environment.
Wrong Size
Regarding sizing errors in orders: If the error is discovered after you submit your order but before production begins, we can accommodate relevant modifications. Once production has commenced, any losses incurred due to size alterations will be borne by the customer. If you discover upon delivery that the received size does not match the size you submitted, and you can prove the discrepancy resulted from our production error, all associated costs will be covered by us.
Change of Mind
Please choose and measure your items carefully as we do not accept returns due to change of mind once the order has been shipped.
Color
Due to the nature of curtains as fabric products, slight color variations may occur due to screen displays and different lighting conditions. Most color differences fall within normal ranges. In principle, we do not accept returns based on color variations unless the fabric color is significantly incorrect.
Package Lost
If a package is lost, we assume responsibility for any loss occurring before delivery confirmation. However, if the package is stored at your doorstep and the courier indicates it has been delivered but is later found missing, you must contact the courier company directly to resolve the matter.
Return Shipping Address
Once return request was approved, you will be provided with return shipping address by email.
Refund
Once you send back returned products, please email at info@curtainu.com to advise us with trackable tracking number, we shall handle the refund after inspection within 3-5 days upon receipt. Refunded amount will be back to your original payment method card, and it normally takes 3-7 days to reflect on your credit card.
What if my shades break?
Our custom Roman Shades are created by hand to stringent standards and should withstand normal use for many years to come. In the unlikely event that your shade stops working properly, then contact us so we can help you get it fixed. If we determine that the product is faulty due to some unforeseen reason (eg. manufacturing defect), we will offer a replacement free of charge. We will request that the original shade be returned to us.
Dispute & Chargeback
Dispute is not a good option for both. Starting a dispute will cost you more time and your money will held by the bank for a very long time 90 days, while by communicating with us, we can assist you in addressing and resolving the issue promptly. We both hope for zero chargeback.
